No one can know Your ways

Father, I am struggling. I know You put me in the book of Job and Ecclesiastes in this point in time, so You have a purpose in it.
Life is not fair, it is hard! And no man can know Your ways and Your plans. You have all power and might in all things. In the vast universe and in my tiny world.
Help me! Help me to choose joy in every circumstance and situation in my life. I know You control it all. Help me to not point out my righteousness like Job, but help me to see Your power and how small I am compared to Your power, your righteousness and justice. Help me to see all the small ways You bless. You don't have to but You always do! Thank You for Your constant faithfulness and love. Help my unbelief.

Fed by birds

Thank You, Father, for Your word. It is my food. You pointed me to Elijah just when I needed it. I saw the birds this morning and I knew You sent them. You are my Father and You always give good gifts. You always provide. Just as You told Elijah to hide himself at the brook Cherith and as he obeyed, You fed him. He did according to Your word.
Help me to do according to Your word. I will hide in You and You will feed me. You will feed me with spiritual food and with physical, because You are my Father and You have no lack.
Thank You, Father.

Your steadfast love

Bless the Lord, O my soul and all that is in me. I will not forget Your benefits. You forgive, heal, redeem, crown us with steadfast love and satisfy me with only good. Your steadfast love is from everlasting to everlasting. You do not deal with me according to my sins, you do not repay me according to what I deserve. You are a good and compassionate Father.
I will fix my eyes on You.

My satisfaction

Father, as Solomon tells us, all the striving is so useless. It is all for someone else to enjoy after us. Help me to remember that I will never find my satisfaction in circumstances, in money, people or relationships. Help me to remember that I can only find my satisfaction in You. Your words bring me life. Thank you that going through these struggles in life enable me to see the joys so much deeper and with a purpose. A purpose for Your kingdom and Your will. Help me to enjoy where You have placed me and what You have called me to do.
You are my hope and You are the One who directs all my steps. You reign sovereign in my life.

Be still

Father, help me to be still. This morning I was reminded that an unstable woman is tossed by the waves, but You are my Shepherd and have led me to still waters.
Help me to respond to things that make me doubt and be afraid with a resolve to be still and know that You are God.
You will be exalted and lifted up in all the earth! I have nothing to fear. You, the LORD of hosts, are with me. You are my fortress. I hide in You.

Let me not be put to shame

Lord, let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in You. May integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for You. Prove me, O Lord and try me; test my heart and my mind. For Your steadfast love is before my eyes.
Psalm 25 & 26

Think on these things

Father, this battle is in my mind. My enemy wants me to focus on things that will take my eyes off You! Thank You for Your word. It is my sword in this battle. Help me to abide with You. Remind me of the things in my life that You have given. Help me to focus my mind on what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, excellent and worth of praise. Lord, You are all of those things! You are the Truth. You are honorable, you have never done me harm. You are just and right. All Your ways are pure. You are so lovely, Lily of the Valley. All Your ways are commendable. All You do is with excellence. And Father, You alone are worthy of all my praises. Help me to fix my mind on You. Thank You that Your peace will flow through my obedience. You are my Peace.
